Founded on June 1, 2001, ATECAR Garage Ltd is a locally registered automotive service company based in Kigali, Rwanda. Conveniently located on KK 15 RD along the Kicukiro-Gahanga road before the MEREZ Petroleum station in Kicukiro District, ATECAR Garage offers a comprehensive suite of automotive services, including traditional vehicle maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and bodywork, as well as specialized services for electric (EV) and hybrid vehicles.
The garage operates under the supervision of the Managing Director, a seasoned industry expert with experience since 1978. His extensive background includes senior roles in organizations across Bujumbura, such as German Technical Assistance, Old East-Burundi, Chanic Burundi, and Electro-Technique Diesel, and Head of Garage at Etablissement Rwandais and Akagera Motors in Rwanda.
